Overview
About this notification
GB Pant University of Agriculture and Technology invites applications for one Senior Research Fellow in its Department of Entomology. The project evaluates chlorantraniliprole 50% w/w 625 g/L FS against cutworm in mustard and carries project code 2589 under Principal Investigator Dr M S Khan. Applicants need an MSc in Agricultural Entomology and one year of experience conducting bio-efficacy field trials in entomology. The notice also includes a bachelor’s-duration and NET clause: it describes a four-year bachelor’s route or NET qualification for a three-year bachelor’s route. Candidates should confirm their precise degree route against that original wording with the PI before submitting. The fellowship pays ₹37,000 a month and is initially offered for six months, with extension possible according to project requirements. The application must reach the Principal Investigator at the departmental address in Pantnagar by 15 October 2026. An actual application table is included in the official notice; complete it with the fellowship and project names, personal and contact details, category, experience, publications and educational record, then sign it. Attach attested copies of all relevant certificates, degrees and testimonials. The interview is scheduled for 11:30 AM on 16 October, and originals must be brought for verification. No separate interview letter will be issued and no travel or daily allowance is payable. The fellowship is a project engagement, so the advertised six-month period should guide availability planning.
