PSSSB (Punjab Subordinate Services Selection Board) advertises most non-gazetted Punjab government jobs, including police, teaching and clerical posts. PPSC (Punjab Public Service Commission) handles gazetted and administrative recruitment.

10th-pass candidates in Punjab typically target PSSSB group D posts, SSC GD and railway group D — all recruit at the 10th-pass level and run on separate, more frequent, national exam calendars.

Yes — 12th-pass routes include PSSSB clerical and constable posts, SSC CHSL, RRB NTPC undergraduate-level recruitment and the IC38 insurance-agent licence, which is popular among 12th-pass Punjab candidates.

No — IC38 is the IRDAI licence exam required to become an insurance agent, not a government post. It's included here because it's a fast, low-cost route to a stable income that many Punjab aspirants pursue alongside government job applications.
