UUHF Dean, College of Horticulture: Bharsar Recruitment 2026

VCSG Uttarakhand University of Horticulture and Forestry invites applications for one unreserved Dean position at its College of Horticulture in Bharsar, Pauri Garhwal. The government-approved post is recruited directly for a three-year tenure. Applicants require a doctorate in Horticulture, the concerned subject or a relevant basic science, together with fifteen years of substantial undergraduate or postgraduate teaching, research or extension experience. At least five of those years must be at Professor rank or equivalent in a reputed institution or organization. Published work, innovations and demonstrated contribution to teaching or research are required, alongside experience planning, executing or coordinating relevant programmes. Eligibility is restricted to officers or faculty in regular service of the recognized universities, research institutions, statutory or autonomous bodies and government or public-sector organizations specified in the notice. The university’s superannuation age is sixty-five. Pay is ₹1,44,200–2,18,200 at Level 14.
