Overview
About this notification
Indira Gandhi University in Meerpur, Rewari, has re-advertised one Field Investigator position for its Haryana State Research Fund project on crop insurance and farmers’ financial stability. The engagement is temporary and project based, with monthly remuneration of ₹15,000. Applicants need a recognized bachelor’s or master’s degree in Economics, Agricultural Economics, Commerce, Management, Statistics, Geography, Sociology or another relevant Social Science discipline. Field-survey experience, interaction with farmers, local-language knowledge, village-level coordination and basic computer, Excel or mobile-data-collection skills are desirable. These preferences should not be confused with a mandatory NET requirement: the appended common form mentions NET for Research Assistant applicants, while this advertisement recruits only a Field Investigator. Work includes identifying respondents, coordinating village visits, scheduling and conducting interviews, collecting primary data and checking survey records. The official PDF includes the actual prescribed project-staff application form. Complete it, select Field Investigator and attach an updated CV, self-attested qualification certificates, experience evidence if available and other relevant documents. Email the application to [email protected] by 16 October 2026; a hard copy may also be deposited with the Department of Economics. Eligible shortlisted candidates will receive interview information separately. Bring originals for verification, and note that no interview travel allowance is payable. The appointment creates no claim for permanent absorption, and incomplete or late applications may be rejected.
