About this notification
The District and Sessions Judge, Jind invites applications for 12 Stenographer Grade III positions on an adhoc basis. Completed paper applications must reach the Superintendent, Sessions Division, Jind by 5 PM on 30 October 2026. The engagement lasts six months or until regular appointments are made by the High Court, whichever occurs earlier, and carries consolidated monthly pay of ₹25,500. Candidates need a graduation degree in any stream, or its recognized equivalent, and proficiency in computer word processing and spreadsheets. Matriculation must include Hindi or English. Qualifications are assessed as on 1 July 2026; the ordinary age band is 18 to 42 years on that date, with applicable notified relaxations. Selection requires English shorthand at 80 words per minute and computer transcription at 20 words per minute. The computer-proficiency test is qualifying and its marks do not count toward final merit. Download the prescribed application format from the Jind court website, attach a recent photograph, attested certificate copies and two properly stamped self-addressed envelopes, and submit by hand or post. Mark the envelope for Stenographer Grade III on an adhoc basis. Test dates, times and venues will appear on the court website; applicants should check it regularly.
