About this notification
Spices Board is accepting applications for Development Trainee 2026 at offices across India. Twenty-one unit offices across Gangtok, Sakleshpur, Guwahati and other regions each advertise one trainee. Locations include Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Bihar and northeastern states. Candidates may be trained at any office within the selected region. This is development training, explicitly unconnected to regular appointment or regularisation. Office-specific test dates and venues must be checked in the annexures; candidates should attend the centre allocated for the selected unit. Eligibility: Exclusively SC/ST candidates with recognised bachelor’s degree in Agriculture/Horticulture/Forestry/Botany/Microbiology/Biotechnology and working computer knowledge. Maximum age 35 on written test date. Final degree certificate is required; original degree must be obtained within 2 years of provisional certificate. Previous Spices Board trainees are ineligible regardless of whether training was completed. Pay or training stipend: ₹20,000 per month for 2 years training; TA for actual spice field travel as provided, not TA/DA for selection test attendance.
