How to use this page
First-year ITI trade theory focuses on fundamentals — basic tools, safety practice, workshop calculation & science, and the foundational concepts for your chosen trade (computer basics for COPA, welding safety and processes for Welder, electrical circuits for Electrician).
Alongside trade theory, the NCVT AITT includes an Employability Skills paper — communication, workplace basics and digital literacy — which first-year students often underprepare for relative to its weight in the final score.
First-year tests are playable across 100+ ITI trades — Electrician, Fitter, COPA, Welder, Mechanic Diesel, Turner, Plumber and more. Every listed test's bank passed an individual verification check against the official answer key; trades still completing that check show their syllabus instead.
