Application fees and Intimation Charges (Non-refundable) is 750/- ( Seven Hundred Fifty only) for UR/EWS/OBC candidates and no fees/intimation charges for SC/ ST candidates. ii. After ensuring correctness of the particulars in the application form, candidates are required to pay the fees through payment gateway integrated with the application. No change/ editing in the application will be allowed thereafter. iii. Fee payment will have to be made online through payment gateway available thereat. The payment can be made by using Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Internet Banking / UPI etc. by providing information as asked on the screen. Transaction charges for online payment, if any, will be borne by the candidates. iv. On successful completion of the transaction, e-receipt and application form, bearing the date of submission by the candidate, will be generated which should be printed and retained by the candidate. v. If the online payment of fee is not successfully completed in first instance, please make fresh attempts to make online payment. |

State Bank of India invites Online application from Indian Citizen for appointment to the following Specialist Cadre Officers Post on Regular Basis. G. SELECTION PROCESS: I. THE SELECTION PROCESS COMPRISES OF ONLINE TEST AND INTERVIEW. II. ONLINE WRITTEN TEST: The structure of the online test is indicated below: Test Structure (Objective) Number of Questions Maximum Marks Duration Reasoning Ability * 50 25* 30 minutes English Language * 50 50* 30 minutes General Awareness * 50 25* 25 minutes Professional Knowledge ## 50 100 35 minutes Total 200 200 Two Hours * Qualifying in nature and marks scored will not be reckoned for arriving at the Merit. Note: Except Professional Knowledge (PK) paper, other papers will be qualifying in nature. Candidates must score minimum qualifying marks in these papers. The minimum qualifying marks will be decided by the Bank. ## For syllabus for the Professional knowledge test (online examination), please see Annexure I III. PENALTY FOR WRONG ANSWERS: There will be no penalty for wrong answers marked in Objective Tests. Page 5 of 16 IV. INTERVIEW: Based on the performance in online written test, category-wise adequate number of candidates as decided by the Bank, who qualify in the online test and depending upon the number of vacancies, will be called for the interview. Interview will carry 100 marks. The qualifying marks in interview will be decided by the Bank. No correspondence will be entertained in this regard. V. MERIT LIST: The marks obtained by the candidates in online written test (objective type test) and Interview will be normalized to 100 marks as detailed below: Test Online Written Test (Professional Knowledge) Interview Total Maximum Marks 100 100 200 Normalized Marks 70 30 100 ✓ Category-wise merit list will be drawn in descending order on the basis of normalized score. ✓ In case more than one candidate scores the cut-off marks (common marks at cut-off point), such candidates will be ranked according to their age in descending order, in the merit list. VI. The call letter for the online test shall be made available on Bank’s website for download. VII. At present the selection process for the captioned post is “online test and interview”. However, Bank reserves the right to change / modify / consider mode of selection through shortlisting & interview.

An Officer not below the Rank of Major in Indian Army or equivalent Rank in Indian Navy / Airforce with minimum 10 years of commissioned Service. OR An Officer not below the Rank of Deputy Commandant in Para-military forces with minimum 10 years of service as an Officer in such force. Deputy Manager (Security) An Officer not below the rank of Captain in Indian Army or equivalent Rank in Indian Navy / Airforce with minimum 5 years of commissioned Service. OR An Officer not below the Rank of Assistant Commandant in Para-military forces with minimum of 5 years of service as an officer in such force. RECRUITMENT OF SPECIALIST CADRE OFFICER ON REGULAR BASIS (ADVERTISEMENT NO: CRPD/SCO/2026-27/28) ONLINE REGISTRATION OF APPLICATION & PAYMENT OF FEES: FROM 04.11.2026 TO 25.11.2026 C. MEDICAL FITNESS – ELIGIBILITY: Only applicants possessing medical fitness in SHAPE-1 or an equivalent medical category as on the date of release of this advertisement shall be eligible to apply for the post(s).
