IIT Kharagpur invites online applications for 1 Research Associate (RA) - Research position(s) in its Bioscience and Biotechnology department. This individual notice, IIT/SRIC/C/SNPF/2026/102, supports the project “Microbial solutions for sustainable and regenerative agriculture: improvement of nitrogen and phosphorous flux”. The work is supported by Cropcoin Technologies Private Limited(Shri Ram Market, Ram Chandra Pur, Bihar Sharif, Nalanda, Bihar, India - 803101). It is a temporary project appointment, based at Kharagpur in West Bengal. Applicants need a PhD, MD, MS, MDS or equivalent, or three years of research, teaching or design-and-development experience after MV Sc, MP harm, ME or MTech, with at least one paper in a Science Citation Indexed journal. The project also lists these desirable skills: Thorough experience in (a) environmental microbiology, including enrichment and isolation of selective bacteria from environment; (b) Biochemical, molecular and genomic characterization of bacteria; and (c) microbiological - analytical techniques, including DNA/RNA based techniques, amplicon, metagenomics, etc. The quoted monthly compensation is Upto Rs.65000(depending upon qualification & experience).
