How it works

Step-by-step

Register on ctet.nic.in with a valid mobile number and email to generate your application number.
Fill in personal, educational and paper-choice (Paper 1 / Paper 2 / both) details.
Upload photograph and signature as per the specified size/format.
Pay the application fee online.
Use the correction window (opens after the application deadline) to fix any errors before it closes.

CTET eligibility at a glance

Paper 1 (Classes 1-5): Senior secondary + 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education, or graduation + 2-year D.El.Ed
Paper 2 (Classes 6-8): Graduation + B.Ed, or 4-year B.El.Ed / B.A.Ed / B.Sc.Ed
