Faculty Organiser — Spoken Tutorial Software Training (IIT Bombay / NMEICT)

The Spoken Tutorial project (IIT Bombay), under NMEICT / Ministry of Education, invites faculty/teachers to register as Organisers/Faculty Coordinators to run FOSS software training for students.

Organisers coordinate training batches using Spoken Tutorial self-learning content. Registration and organiser activation are done on the official Spoken Tutorial website. This is a government-funded education programme role, not a private-sector job.

Note: organisers typically arrange a computer lab at their institute for learner batches, while coordination with the IIT Bombay training team is online — hence hybrid, not fully remote TELECOMMUTE.

Responsibilities

Register as Organiser, plan semester training batches, coordinate student participation and assessment tests, and stay in touch with the Spoken Tutorial training team.

Qualifications

Faculty / teacher / staff member at a college, university, polytechnic or school who can coordinate lab-based Spoken Tutorial sessions.

Education requirements

Faculty or teacher status at a participating educational institution.
