Mentor — National Mission for Mentoring (NCTE)

The National Mission for Mentoring (NMM), under NEP 2020 and implemented by NCTE (Ministry of Education), invites outstanding professionals to mentor school teachers for continuous professional development.

Mentoring is delivered as structured professional support across pedagogy and related domains. Applications are accepted through the official NMM registration portal.

This is a government mentoring engagement, not a private-sector vacancy. Apply only via the NCTE NMM portal.

Responsibilities

Provide short- and long-term mentoring support to school teachers (mentees), contribute to capacity building aligned with NEP 2020, and participate in orientation/resources shared by NCTE for NMM mentors.

Qualifications

Demonstrated professional excellence in education or a listed mentoring domain; meet the experience/age criteria published in the current NMM invitation / extension notices.

Education requirements

Outstanding professionals (including retired/in-service), professors from HEIs, and State Teacher Awardees as invited in NCTE NMM notices. Domain-wise experience requirements apply (commonly 10+ years for many pedagogy domains).
