National only — EdTech State Consultant, Education, Maharashtra (16 months, remote with trip)

UNICEF India seeks a national EdTech State Consultant to support the Department of Education, Government of Maharashtra in building a climate-resilient, coherent, scalable and equity-focused EdTech ecosystem under the Next-Gen Learning programme. The role involves close collaboration with the State Education Department, MSCERT, academic institutions and civil society organisations so that technology serves pedagogical goals and reaches the most marginalised learners. The consultancy is remote with occasional travel, for 16 months, open to Indian nationals only.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support to the Maharashtra education department to enhance state capacity to leverage technology for improving retention and learning outcomes at lower secondary and secondary levels; coordinate with MSCERT, academic institutions and civil society partners.

Qualifications

Nationals of India only. Demonstrated experience in EdTech, education systems strengthening or state-level education programmes. Full requirements are on the official UNICEF posting.
