Odisha Government Jobs and Prep

Odisha state government recruitment runs through three separate commissions, which is the single most common point of confusion for aspirants. OPSC (Odisha Public Service Commission) handles gazetted and administrative-level posts. OSSC (Odisha Staff Selection Commission) recruits for Group C non-gazetted posts. OSSSC (Odisha Sub-ordinate Staff Selection Commission) covers subordinate Group C and D posts across various state departments.

Which commission you need depends entirely on the post: check the specific recruitment notification to confirm whether it falls under OPSC, OSSC or OSSSC, since eligibility, exam pattern and application process are set independently by each body.

Beyond state recruitment, Odisha candidates also compete nationally for SSC, railway and banking exams — filter jobs below by your qualification to see both state and central opportunities.
