NLU Delhi UPR Project: Research Associate and Field Researchers

National Law University Delhi is recruiting one Research Associate and two Field Researchers for a six-month project preparing India’s Common Core Document and National Report for the fifth Universal Periodic Review cycle. All three appointments are full-time contracts with immediate joining and physical attendance at the Dwarka campus. The Research Associate needs an LLM from a recognized Indian or foreign university, a good academic record, knowledge of international human-rights law, understanding of doctrinal and empirical research, English proficiency and competence with MS Office and research tools. Field Researchers need a recognized degree in Law or Social Sciences, a good academic record, qualitative and empirical research skills, strong English communication and proficiency with documentation tools. Relevant previous research and field experience is desirable rather than an automatic substitute for the required degree and skills. Consolidated monthly remuneration is ₹50,000 for the Research Associate and ₹40,000 for each Field Researcher. Apply through the university’s actual careers portal by 5 PM IST on 22 October 2026.
