About this notification
The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) has issued Notification No. 06/2025 dated 14.07.2025 for direct recruitment to the posts of Forest Beat Officer and Assistant Beat Officer in the A.P. Forest Subordinate Service. A total of 691 vacancies (256 + 435) are available, including positions reserved for Meritorious Sportspersons (MSP) under a 3% horizontal quota. Candidates must be between 18 and 30 years of age as of 01.07.2025 and must apply online via https://psc.ap.gov.in from 16.07.2025 to 05.08.2025. Applicants must complete One Time Profile Registration (OTPR) before applying. The selection process involves a Screening Test (if applications exceed 200 times vacancies) followed by a Main Examination, both objective-type and conducted offline using OMR sheets.
