AFCAT Result — How to Check

AFCAT results are published stage-wise by Indian Air Force on afcat.cdac.in. This page explains how the result is declared, how to read your scorecard and what happens after you qualify.

Facts last verified 17 July 2026

How it works

Step-by-step

  1. Open afcat.cdac.in and go to the results or notices section for the AFCAT recruitment.
  2. Find the result notice for your stage and open the attached list.
  3. Search the PDF for your roll or registration number to confirm your status.
  4. Download and save the result notice and your scorecard where one is provided.
  5. Read the next-stage instructions in the same notice — qualifying usually triggers the following stage's schedule.

How the AFCAT result is declared

Indian Air Force publishes each stage result as an official notice on afcat.cdac.in — treat the portal as the authority and ignore unofficial lists circulating on messaging apps.

Stage lists are usually roll-number PDFs: appearing in one means you are provisionally qualified for the next stage, subject to the eligibility checks that continue through document verification.

Reading your scorecard

Where a scorecard is provided, it shows your marks against the qualifying standard for your category — download it while the link is live, since portals archive links after a cycle closes.

The final result reflects merit across the exam's stages; interim stage results are shortlists, not the final selection.

After you qualify

Qualifying a stage triggers the next schedule — keep your registered mobile and email active, since Indian Air Force communicates through the portal and registered contacts.
