The Indian Air Force recruits officers via AFCAT (twice a year, for Flying and Ground Duty branches) and airmen via Agniveer Vayu (under the Agnipath scheme), each with its own separate exam.

Selection process

AFCAT written exam (objective) or Agniveer Vayu online written test.
AFSB (Air Force Selection Board) interview for AFCAT, or physical/medical tests for Agniveer Vayu.
Final merit list and training allotment.
