Treat the generated letter as a draft to verify
An AI cover-letter generator can be used as a writing aid, but its output does not establish your experience, the employer's requirements or your suitability. The important work is deciding what information to provide, checking every claim and choosing the final wording yourself. A polished paragraph can still contain an unsupported result.
This guide is an original assisted-writing exercise rather than a ranking of current products. It does not claim that KarmSakha offers a dedicated cover-letter generator, that a tool is free today or that an application can be completed in a guaranteed number of minutes. No vendor's live generator, price or employment outcome has been tested for this article.
The fictional draft below is deliberately constructed for review. It is not output recorded from a named service or a successful candidate letter. Harvard's AI application-writing guidance supports reviewing accuracy and authentic voice, protecting personal or proprietary information and following employer rules; the prompt, audit and revision here are our own. Keep preparing
Continue with Sarkari Resume Templates₹299 — coaching के एक महीने से काफ़ी सस्ता / far cheaper than a month of coachingCreate a fact sheet before a prompt
Identify the actual role and relevant requirements from the advert. Then list the facts you can support: the setting, task, individual contribution, qualification status and permitted result. Put unknown details in a separate list. A gap should remain visible instead of becoming a persuasive statement invented during drafting.
Fictional fact sheet: Noor is applying for an entry-level operations assistant role. In a supervised college inventory exercise, she compared a practice sheet with supplied delivery notes, found two unit mismatches and checked the intended units with the tutor. She then corrected the exercise sheet. She has not worked with live company stock, managed staff or measured a business saving.
The fictional advert asks for careful record checking and clear communication of mismatches. It does not ask Noor to claim management experience. This is enough information to prepare a relevant paragraph without uploading identity records or a full private document.
Give a bounded drafting instruction
An original prompt could be:
Draft a short cover-letter paragraph for the fictional operations assistant role described below. Use only the supplied facts. Name the work as supervised college practice. Explain the candidate's own checking action and the tutor-confirmed correction. Do not invent employment, savings, staff management, software proficiency or employer facts. If a requirement is not supported, leave it as a question for the candidate rather than filling the gap.
Then supply the minimal fact sheet and role requirements. A prompt can make the requested boundaries clear; it is not proof that a particular tool will follow them. Read the actual output before deciding whether it can be used. If the service's handling of data is unclear, do not assume that adding more private detail is necessary.
Use the provider's current instructions and data terms when choosing a tool. This guide does not claim that all AI services store, delete or process information in the same way. You can rehearse with invented facts, as the article does, without transmitting your own resume or another person's records.
Inspect a deliberately flawed fictional draft
Draft to audit: I am an experienced operations professional who improved inventory accuracy by 30% and led a team to eliminate stock errors. My advanced warehouse software skills will help your growing logistics division scale efficiently. In college, I used my expertise to transform the stock process and deliver major savings.
The paragraph is fluent, but its claims exceed the fact sheet. Noor has supervised coursework, not the stated employment history. No measured accuracy improvement, team leadership, warehouse software skill, logistics division growth or savings is supplied. The college reference does not make the invented claims accurate.
| Draft claim | Decision from the fact sheet |
|---|---|
| Experienced operations professional | Replace with the actual supervised practice setting |
| Improved accuracy by 30% | Remove; no such measurement was recorded |
| Led a team | Remove; no management responsibility supplied |
| Advanced warehouse software | Remove or verify separately from actual experience |
| Growing logistics division | Remove; employer context not provided or verified |
This audit is an original exercise, not evidence that every generator produces these exact errors. Its purpose is to show how to compare a sentence with the available record. A sentence unsupported by the fact sheet should not be retained just because it improves the tone.
Write a supported revision
Revised fictional paragraph: I am applying for the Operations Assistant role. In a supervised college inventory exercise, I compared a practice sheet with the supplied delivery notes and identified two unit mismatches. I checked the intended units with the tutor and corrected the exercise sheet after confirmation. This work relates to the record-checking and mismatch-reporting tasks in your advert. I would need to learn your live stock system and approval rules.
Every substantive claim now has a place in the supplied record. The final sentence identifies a relevant learning gap. It does not promise a future error rate or assume familiarity with the employer's systems. The revision is deliberately modest because the evidence is modest.
If Noor later supplies genuine software practice or employment, she can add it accurately. That is a change to the fact sheet, not an invitation to infer a skill from the role title. If a required qualification is missing, the letter cannot make it exist; review the actual eligibility instructions before applying.
Keep a sentence-level revision log
For each retained claim, record the source fact and whether it describes past work, a current capability or a proposed contribution. A proposal such as I would learn your workflow should not be rewritten as I already optimise your workflow. The tense and authority matter as much as the chosen adjective.
If a tool suggests several versions, compare their claims rather than selecting the one that sounds most confident. You can combine useful phrasing, but verify the combined paragraph again. An accurate sentence from one version does not validate unsupported content copied from another.
A practice partner can ask what evidence supports each statement. If you cannot answer, revise the sentence or check the underlying record. This process does not supply an ATS score, a plagiarism certification or an employer's permission to use assisted writing. Follow any actual assessment or application instruction concerning assistance.
Finalise the letter independently of the tool
Check the role name, recipient, contact route and required attachment. Verify company-specific information from an appropriate source or omit it. Inspect the final document after export and ensure that the selected file contains the wording you reviewed. A tool's generated title or filename is not proof that you attached the current version.
For further evidence comparison, use our cover-letter examples. For the final file, see the PDF export guide. These are writing and document checks, not claims of a functioning KarmSakha generator or guaranteed hiring advantage.
Do not add a fictional reference, testimonial or qualification because the generator suggests one. Do not use an invented sample as your own biography. You remain responsible for the final application, including any statements made outside the letter in the portal or message.
Common questions
Which AI generator is best?
This article has not compared current products. Define the writing task, check the service's current features and data terms, and assess the output against your actual facts. A product name alone does not establish quality, cost or suitability.
Can I submit the first generated draft?
Read and verify it first. The exercise shows why smooth wording and accurate evidence are separate. Follow the employer's instructions, and do not retain claims you cannot support.
Should I add exact achievements to the prompt?
Provide only accurate information you are permitted and comfortable sharing through the chosen service. A task can often be rehearsed with a minimal or fictional fact sheet. This guide does not authorise sharing confidential client information or unnecessary identity documents.
Does a strong prompt prevent every error?
No such guarantee is made here. A clear prompt defines the requested work, while the review checks whether the draft actually meets it. The final source-to-sentence comparison is still necessary.
