APSC Forest Ranger Examination Rescheduled Date

The commission modified the Forest Ranger examination programme because of administrative inconvenience. The examination previously scheduled for 12 September 2026 was moved to 14 September 2026. The notification expressly retains the same venue, subjects and examination time. It also states that a separate e-Admission Certificate will not be issued: the certificate already downloaded remains valid for the rescheduled examination. The original programme covers recruitment to Forest Ranger posts in the Assam Forest Service under the Environment and Forests Department, advertisement 22/2025, and provides the conventional and objective subject sessions. The revised date has passed. Candidates should retain the modification with the original programme and admission certificate when checking later recruitment notices, so that the cancelled session date is not treated as the operative date. This update does not reopen applications.
