Recruitment for Senior Adviser in Department of Science and Technology (DST)

The Department of Science and Technology (DST) under the Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India, has announced the recruitment for one post of Senior Adviser. The post is permanent and to be filled on deputation (including short-term contract) basis. The position is at Level 15 (Rs. 1,82,200–2,24,100) in the Pay Matrix. Eligible candidates include officers from Central/State Governments, UTs, autonomous/statutory bodies, PSUs, universities, or recognized research institutions holding analogous posts or with at least three years of regular service in Level 14. Essential qualifications include a Doctorate in Science/Engineering or Master’s in Engineering/Technology/Medicine, along with 18 years of R&D experience, including 10 years in senior-level S&T programme administration. Desirable qualifications include post-doctoral research, leadership qualities, and experience in S&T policy, institution building, and public-private partnerships.
