Assistant Electrical Inspectors in A.P. Electrical Inspectorate Service Recruitment 2018

The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) has issued Notification No. 16/2018 dated 21.12.2018 for the recruitment of Assistant Electrical Inspectors in the A.P. Electrical Inspectorate Service. A total of 3 vacancies (01 carried forward and 02 fresh) are available under the General Recruitment. Candidates must be between 18–42 years of age as of 01.07.2018 and must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized Indian university. Additionally, they must have three years of practical experience in Electrical Engineering, with at least one year in areas such as generation, transmission, distribution, or administration of the Indian Electricity Act, 1910. Applications were accepted online from 03.01.2019 to 25.01.2019, with the fee payment deadline on 24.01.2019. The selection process includes a Screening Test (offline, if more than 25,000 applicants) and an Online Main Examination scheduled for 17.04.2019. Physically Handicapped candidates are not eligible. Hall tickets were to be downloaded from the official website. Candidates were required to complete One Time Profile Registration (OTPR) before applying. Reservations apply as per state rules for SC, ST, BC, and Women categories.
