Forest Guard applications are filed online with State forest departments / state selection boards on upsssc.gov.in within each notification's window. This page walks through the process, the document specs and the mistakes that cause rejections.

2. Register or log in with a working email and mobile number.
3. Fill the form carefully — personal, educational and category details are verified later against originals.
4. Upload your photograph and signature exactly to the prescribed specifications.
5. Pay the application fee online and download the submitted confirmation page.

Applications are verified against original documents much later in the cycle — an error casually entered in the form can disqualify an otherwise-selected candidate at verification.
