What is the current CSBC written-exam pattern?

The 01/2025 and 03/2025 advertisements prescribe 100 objective questions for 100 marks in two hours on an OMR sheet, with one mark for each correct answer. Always re-check the advertisement for the cycle you apply to.

Is reasoning a separate Bihar Police Constable subject?

Not in the official 01/2025 or 03/2025 subject list. The written syllabus names Hindi, English, Mathematics, Social Science, Science, General Knowledge and current affairs. Do not replace those school subjects with an SSC-style reasoning syllabus.

Do written marks decide the final Constable merit list?

For the main Constable/direct-recruit lanes in the cited advertisements, the written paper is qualifying for PET shortlisting and the final merit is based on the notified physical-efficiency events. Certain Jail Warder quota categories have different merit treatment, so candidates must read the post-specific clauses in Advt. 03/2025.
