India’s first privately developed orbital rocket, Vikram-1 launched successfully from Satish Dhawan Space Centre

India has successfully launched its first privately developed orbital rocket, Vikram-1, under Mission Aagaman. The rocket lifted off from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh, at 12:05 PM and achieved a 450 km orbit after completing its final burn. This achievement positions India as the third nation globally to develop a private orbital launch vehicle, significantly enhancing the country's capabilities in the space sector and promoting private sector participation in space exploration.
