Ozone pollution spreading across Indian cities, says new CSE anaylsis

A recent analysis by the Centre for Science and Environment (CSE) indicates that ozone pollution is rapidly increasing in Indian cities, with Delhi-NCR identified as the largest hotspot. Other cities like Chandigarh, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Chennai, Bengaluru, and Patna are also severely affected. This trend is concerning as ozone pollution can have significant health impacts and contributes to climate change, highlighting the urgent need for effective air quality management policies.
