Refresher Course on Graph Theory and Cryptography

This refresher course is designed to enhance the teaching and research capabilities of educators in the fields of graph theory and cryptography. It covers fundamental topics such as number theory, symmetric and asymmetric cryptosystems, public key cryptography (including RSA, ElGamal, and elliptic curve systems), digital signatures, information theory, and algorithm complexity. The course also explores graph representation, traversal, shortest path algorithms, spanning trees, graph coloring, and domination with applications in NLP, facility location, and matrix compression. Delivered through interactive lectures, hands-on exercises, and collaborative discussions by experts from premier institutions, the program aims to improve instructional strategies and student engagement. The course will be conducted online from March 19 to March 31, 2025, organized by IIITDM Kancheepuram under the MMTTC program. Registration is free via mmc.ugc.ac.in.
