The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) has announced direct recruitment for the post of Civil Assistant Surgeon in A.P. Insurance Medical Services under limited recruitment. There are a total of 7 carried-forward vacancies across four zones. The recruitment is conducted through a Computer Based Recruitment Test (CBRT) in English medium. Candidates must possess an M.B.B.S. degree recognized under the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956, and must be permanently registered medical practitioners in Andhra Pradesh. The selection process is based entirely on the written examination. Hall tickets will be available for download from the official website. Applications must be submitted online via the APPSC portal between 27 October 2022 and 16 November 2022, with the fee payment deadline on 15 November 2022. Reservation policies apply as per state rules for SC, ST, BC, EWS, PH, and women candidates.
