Recruitment to the Post of Director (Technical Education), Joint Director (School Education), Deputy Director (School Education) and Other Group 'A' Posts in Mizoram

The Government of Mizoram, in exercise of powers under Article 309 of the Constitution of India, has established recruitment rules for multiple Group 'A' positions including Director (Technical Education), Joint Director (School Education), Deputy Director (School Education), District Education Officer, Additional District Education Officer, Deputy Director (ICERT), Programme Officer (ICERT/SCERT), Project Coordinator (SCERT), Educational Research Officer (SCERT), Audio Producer (SCERT), Lecturer/Assistant Vocational Guidance Officer (SCERT), Deputy Director (Science Promotion), Lecturer (Science Gallery), and Principal (Teacher Training Institute). These rules define the number of posts, classification, pay scale, age limit, qualifications, training requirements, reservation policies, and other conditions for appointment. The rules came into force upon publication in the Official Gazette and supersede previous regulations. Special provisions include relaxation of upper age limits for SC/ST and other reserved categories, disqualification based on marital status, and the authority of the Governor to relax rules in consultation with the Mizoram Selection Board.
