Research Assistant for ICSSR Project on Sustainability of Agriculture in Haryana

Kurukshetra University is recruiting a Research Assistant for the ICSSR-sponsored research project titled 'A Comprehensive Study on Sustainability of Agriculture in Haryana' under the Major Research Project Scheme of the Ministry of Education, New Delhi. The position is temporary, tenable for six months to one year (with the first month as probation), and carries a consolidated emolument of ₹37,000 per month. Eligible candidates must hold a Ph.D., M.Phil., or Post Graduate degree in Social Science with at least 55% marks, with preference given to those with a Master’s in Agricultural Economics. Key responsibilities include conducting literature reviews, fieldwork, data collection from secondary sources, performing moderately complex statistical analysis, maintaining data records, preparing progress reports, articles, presentations, and assisting in dissemination of findings.
