The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) has issued Notification No. 21/2018 dated 10/12/2018 for the recruitment of Agriculture Officers in the A.P. Agriculture Service. A total of 27 vacancies (12 carried forward and 15 fresh) are available. Eligible candidates must hold a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from a recognized university or one accredited by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). The age limit is 18–42 years as of 01.07.2018. Applications were accepted online from 07/01/2019 to 29/01/2019, with the fee payment deadline on 28/01/2019. The selection process includes a screening test (offline, if more than 25,000 apply) and an online main examination scheduled for 17.04.2019. Candidates must register via OTPR on the APPSC website before applying. Hall tickets are downloadable from the website. Reservation policies apply as per state rules for SC, ST, BC, Women, Physically Challenged, and Sports persons. Local status and community certificates must be produced during verification.
