The Jammu and Kashmir Police Headquarters has sanctioned a special welfare relief of ₹210,000 (Rupees Two Hundred Ten Thousand Only) from the Contributory Police Welfare Fund in favor of the dependents/actual legal heirs of the deceased Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Mohammad Rayaq, PID No. EXJ935953, of District Police Ramban. The ASI passed away on 11.08.2023 at District Hospital, Ramban, during service. Additionally, an ex-gratia amount of ₹100,000 (Rupees One Lakh Only) has been granted to SP Ramban, already disbursed to the NOKs (Next of Kin) of the deceased, for immediate relief and last rites. The order directs concerned authorities to ensure proper documentation, verification by the commanding officer, and preparation of bank advice for disbursement.
