Recruitment for Temporary Project Positions under ICIMOD Funded KSLCDI Project

The G.B. Pant National Institute of Himalayan Environment & Sustainable Development is recruiting on a purely temporary basis for the ICIMOD-funded project 'Kailash Sacred Landscape Conservation and Development Initiative (KSLCDI)'. Two positions are available: Admin and Documentation Associate (ADA) at Rs 20,000/month and Researcher Level-II (RL-II) at Rs 18,000 or Rs 22,000/month (for PhD holders). The maximum age limit is 35 years, with possible relaxation for deserving and reserved category candidates. Essential qualifications include a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant fields with good academic records. Desirable qualifications include experience in environmental research, documentation, and IT skills. Candidates must appear for a Walk-In-Interview on July 7, 2016, at the Kosi-Katarmal, Almora campus, bringing original documents and application. No TA/DA will be provided. Positions are initially valid until December 31, 2016, extendable based on performance.
