Applications are invited for admission to the Six-Month Certificate Course in Tai Ahom Language and Medieval Manuscriptology at Gauhati University for the session 2025–26. The programme is conducted by the Centre for South East Asian Studies under the Department of Political Science. Candidates who have passed Class XII in any discipline from a recognized board are eligible to apply. The admission fee is Rs. 2000, and the course duration is six months with 30 available seats. Applicants must submit the duly filled application form along with self-attested documents either in person or by post to the Department of Political Science, Gauhati University, Guwahati–781014, on or before 25 February 2026. The application form can be downloaded from the official university website or the attached notification. No application fee is required for submission.
