The Government of Maharashtra Finance Department invites applications for the posts of Technical Members (State) of the Goods and Services Tax Appellate Tribunal (GSTAT) in the Maharashtra/Goa State Benches. The Central Government has notified 3 State Benches for Maharashtra & Goa. The posts are to be filled on the recommendations of the Search-cum-Selection Committee constituted under clause (a) of sub-section (4) of section 110 of the CGST Act, 2017. The candidates will be selected based on their qualifications, experience, and overall evaluation. The last date for submitting applications is 24.10.2024. The candidates are required to apply online through the GSTN website. The selected candidates will be appointed as Technical Members (State) of the GSTAT in the Maharashtra/Goa State Benches. The salary and benefits will be as per the CGST Act and GSTAT Rules. The candidates are required to have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the administration of an existing law or good and services tax or finance or taxation in the State Government. The candidates are also required to have experience in adjudicating as an appellate authority. The candidates are required to submit their applications along with the necessary documents and certificates. The candidates are required to pay the application fee through online mode. The candidates are required to submit their applications before the last date. The candidates are required to ensure that they meet the eligibility criteria and the selection process. The candidates are required to be aware of the terms and conditions of the appointment. The candidates are required to join within 30 days from the date of issue of order of appointment.
