The Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs is recruiting for the post of Joint Secretary. The post is open to officers under the Central or State Governments or Union Territories. The selected candidate will be responsible for administrative duties, including parliamentary and legislative functions. The post is available in the Pay Band 4 (Rs. 37,400-67,000) plus Grade Pay Rs. 10,000. The eligibility conditions include holding an analogous post on a regular basis in the parent cadre/Department, or having two years of service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis having pay in Pay Band 4 (Rs. 37,400-67,000) plus Grade Pay Rs. 8,900 or equivalent in the parent cadre or Department. The period of deputation will not exceed three years. The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation is 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of applications.
Education: Graduation in any discipline. Age Limit: Not exceeding 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of applications. Experience: At least two years of service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis having pay in Pay Band 4 (Rs. 37,400-67,000) plus Grade Pay Rs. 8,900 or equivalent in the parent cadre or Department.
