The Government of India, Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, has issued a notification to amend the Central Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. The notification introduces changes to the notification No.2/2017-Central Tax (Rate), dated the 28th June, 2017. The amendments include the substitution of serial numbers and entries in the Schedule, and the insertion of new serial numbers and entries. The notification comes into force on the 1st January, 2019.
