The Government of Kerala has issued a notification to amend the tax rate for Petrol other than Naphtha and High Speed Diesel Oil. The notification aims to restore the tax rate to the levels as it existed before June 7, 2008, to avoid further loss of revenue to the State exchequer. The amendment is intended to achieve the above object and is effective immediately.
