The Staff Selection Commission is conducting the Stenographer Grade 'C' Limited Departmental Competitive Examination, 2018. This examination is for the recruitment of stenographers in various departments of the Government of India. The examination will be conducted in two stages: a written examination and a skill test. The written examination will consist of two papers: Paper I and Paper II. Paper I will be of objective type and will cover general awareness, English language, and reasoning ability. Paper II will be of descriptive type and will cover English language and general knowledge. The skill test will be of 30 minutes duration and will be conducted to assess the candidate's stenography skills. The examination will be conducted in various centers across the country. The candidates who qualify in the written examination will be called for the skill test. The final selection will be based on the performance in the skill test. The examination is scheduled to be held from 08-08-2024 to 08-12-2024.
The candidates must have a graduation degree from a recognized university and must have stenography skills. The candidates must be between 18 to 30 years of age as on 01-08-2024.
