The Government of India, Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, Central Board of Excise and Customs, has issued a notification to appoint the 1st day of July, 2017, as the date on which the provisions of sections 4 to 13, 16 to 19, 21, 23 to 25 of the Integrated Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, shall come into force. The notification is in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 1 of the Integrated Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 (13 of 2017).
