The Ministry of Finance, Government of India, has issued a notification to amend the Integrated Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. The notification introduces a new clause to the existing notification No. 9/2017- Integrated Tax (Rate), dated the 28th June, 2017. The amendment adds a new entry to the table, which includes Electrically operated vehicles meant to carry more than twelve passengers. The notification comes into effect from the 1st of August, 2019.
