About This Opportunity

The Ministry of Jal Shakti, Department of Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation, Government of India, invites applications for one post of Member (Agriculture) in Cauvery Water Management Authority (CWMA) on deputation basis (including short-term contract) in pay level-14 (Rs.1,44,200-2,18,200/-) of pay matrix. The last date for submission of the application and related documents to this Department has been extended from 25.08.2025 to 30.09.2025. All other terms and conditions, as mentioned in the circular/Notice dated 20.06.2025 will remain the same.

Eligibility Criteria

Education: Master's Degree in Agriculture Science with specialization in Agronomy/Crop Science. Age Limit: The maximum age limit for appointment on deputation shall not be exceeding 58 years as on the closing date for receipt of applications. Experience: Officers from the Central Government/State Government/UTs/Recognized Research Institutions/Autonomous Statutory Bodies, PIs/Agriculture Universities possessing the following experience: (a) holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or department; or (b) with three years regular service in post in pay matrix 13 or 13A or equivalent in parent cadre or department and served 16 years in Group 'A' or equivalent Level.
