About This Opportunity

The Government of Assam, in exercise of power conferred under Section-11 of the Assam Police Act, 2007, is pleased to establish Pandu River Police Station under Guwahati West Police District, Police Commissionerate, Guwahati. The police station will continue to function with the existing setup. The boundaries of Pandu River Police Station will be as follows: North - From the point of Raikkhasini Char in north west corner the boundary moves along with north river bank of Brahmaputra upto the point of Kajali Chapori in the north east corner. South - From the point of Gorol Gaon in south west corner the boundary moves along the south bank of Brahmaputra river upto the point of Kolong-Kopili mukh in the south east corner. East - From Raikkhasini Char to Gorol village across river Brahmaputra. West - From Kajali Chapari to Kolong-Kopili Mukh across river Brahmaputra. The list of villages/mohallas/roads/byelanes under the jurisdiction of Pandu River Police Station will be as follows: Hajonjbori Chapari, Chandrapur Chapari, Kajali Chapari, Umananda Island, Raikkhasini Island.
