About This Opportunity

The Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, is recruiting officers from the Jharkhand Police Service to the Indian Police Service (IPS) against vacancies determined by the Government of India for Select List Years 2022 and 2023. The selected officers will be allocated to the Jharkhand Cadre under the Indian Police Service (Cadre) Rules, 1954. The officers will remain on probation for one year as per the Indian Police Service (Probation) Rules, 1954, and will undergo induction training as per sub-rule 5(4) of the Indian Police Service (Probation) Rules, 1954, as amended on 10.05.2011. The appointment will take effect from the date of issue of this notification.
