The Haj Committee of India, a statutory body established under the Act of Parliament No. 35 of 2022, invites sealed bids from reputed, eligible, experienced, and qualified Indian smartwatch manufacturers (OEM) and technology providers or their authorized bidders for the design, manufacture, supply, and deployment of 1,22,518 smartwatches tailormade for Indian Haj pilgrims participating in Haj 2026. The proposed smartwatch will serve as a multi-functional wearable device, offering critical features such as live location GPS tracking, health monitoring tools, religious facilitation features, instant alert messaging, and emergency SOS functionality. The selected bidder shall be responsible for ensuring technical readiness, multilingual interface or guide, training support, and on-ground deployment of smartwatches during the Haj period.
