About This Opportunity

The Government of Punjab has issued a notification to enhance EDC charges on certain roads in the state of Punjab. The notification aims to improve and upgrade major roads in the state due to increased traffic and to make these roads safe for traffic movement. The enhanced EDC charges will be applicable on both sides up to 1 K.M. distance for the roads mentioned at Sr.No. A and B. For the road at Sr.No. C, these rates shall be applicable on both sides of the road up to the distance of 500 meter. The new EDC charges shall be applicable on those projects which are approved after the date of this notification. However, it is clarified that this notification shall not be applicable on those cases where demand notice has been issued to the Promoter before the date of this notification.
