The Ministry of Home Affairs is recruiting for the position of Deputy Inspector General (DIG) in the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on deputation basis. The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing the investigation and enforcement activities of the CBI. The position is open to Indian Police Service (IPS) officers who have completed their probationary period and have a minimum of 5 years of service left. The selected candidate will be appointed for a period of 5 years or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
