About This Opportunity

Applications are invited for the post of Senior Pilot (Helicopter) on a contract basis in the Civil Aviation Department, Government of Punjab, Chandigarh. The selected candidate will be responsible for flying the Helicopter Bell 429. The post offers a fixed salary of Rs 4,80,000 per month with 4% annual escalation, along with a fixed house rent allowance of Rs 25,000 per month and a fixed mobile allowance of Rs 2,000 per month. The candidate should possess a valid CHAPL or ALTP (H) license, current FRTOL, RTR (A), and a Class-I medical certificate. The candidate should also have at least 3000 hours of flying experience, including 2000 hours as a Pilot-in-Command and at least 250 hours on a Multi-Engine, Glass Cockpit Helicopter. The candidate should also have at least 75 hours of flying experience as a Pilot-in-Command on the type of helicopter and at least 10 hours of night flying experience. The candidate should also have a minimum of 30 hours of flying experience as a Pilot-in-Command in the last 6 months on the type or similar type of helicopter, including five hours on the type in the last thirty days of the intended flight. Preference will be given to candidates having a Bell 429 Helicopter endorsement on their licenses. The selection will be made by the Departmental Selection Committee, and the decision of the committee/Government will be final.
