The Meghalaya Government is inviting applications for the retention of temporary posts beyond 28.02.86. The Finance Department has re-considered the proposal and has decided that Administrative Departments can issue sanction for renewal of temporary posts which are regular along term posts. The posts must be borne on the regular establishment and expected to be continued for an indefinite period. The renewal is subject to strict adherence to the following conditions: availability of funds by Appropriation, conformity with the original sanction, and circumstances which weighed in creating the post still exist. The Financial Adviser of the Department concerned will forward the sanction to the Accountant General, Meghalaya, Shillong. A copy of the sanction should be forwarded to the Finance Department for information.
