The Department of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare invites applications for the post of Director in the National Centre for Organic and Natural Farming (NCONF). The post is available on deputation (including short term contract)/promotion basis. The Director will be responsible for the overall administrative and technical headship of NCONF & RCONFs. Key responsibilities include standardization of quality testing procedures, development of innovative technologies for input management in organic farming, and coordination with the Department of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare in policy matters. The eligibility criteria include a postgraduate degree in Microbiology, Botany, or Agriculture with specialization in relevant fields, and twelve years of experience in the field of bio-fertilizers or fertilizer use or recycling of organic waste. Education: Postgraduate degree in Microbiology, Botany, or Agriculture with specialization in relevant fields. Age Limit: Not exceeding 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of applications. Experience: Twelve years of experience in the field of bio-fertilizers or fertilizer use or recycling of organic waste. Nationality: Indian citizen. Other: Departmental officers holding the post of Regional Director in the Pay Band-3 in the scale of Rs. 15600-39100 plus Grade Pay of Rs. 7600/- with five years regular service shall also be considered along with outsiders and if they are selected for appointment, the post shall be deemed to have been filled by promotion.

Pay Scale: ₹37400-67000 per month. Grade Pay: ₹8700/- (Revised Level-13 of Pay Matrix). Allowances: HRA, DA, TA (if mentioned). Total Package: Approximately ₹37400-67000 per month.
